Shell Beach, CA—The first ever Squeezebox Squareoff held Saturday, August 2nd at Old Vienna Restaurant in Shell Beach raised $500 for the Parkinson's Alliance through drawings for a selection of gift baskets. The accordion contest was free to attend and enter and drew eight contestants from throughout California who played to a packed house.

The contest winner, Norm Panto of Thousand Oaks, has been playing accordion since the age of twelve and has performed in movies, television shows and commercials.

Second place winner was Bob Moloznik of Agua Dulce and third place went to Donna Massey of Huntington Beach.

The contest was presided over by “SqueezeMaster” Glen Starkey and judged by Hans Reithofer, Bob Osborn, Barry VanderKelen, and Chuck Osborne.
